How to change brakes on 2001 chevy camero step by step?

i have a car with squeling brake pads that have been speaking since a week after put on and i want to change them myselfHow to change brakes on 2001 chevy camero step by step?look on www.autozone.com and look on the repair guides, I'm pretty sure they have the step by step on thatHow to change brakes on 2001 chevy camero step by step?Hayne's Manuals has one for your Camaro and one for Brakes...all kinds of brakes--drum, disc, etc. Disc brakes are easy enough to do, but you need some things.

First, get a floor jack and some jack-stands...don't ever lift or get under a car for a long time without them. Even if the jack fails, but doesn't land on you, it break a lot of things...trust me.

You'll also need a c-clamp, some high temperature grease and either allen-wrenches, crescent wrenches and/or sockets.

Get yourself a metal coat hanger and some DOT approved brake fluid.

At this point though, you need to grab a manual. Front disc brakes are simple to do, but you need to take your time and do it right. They apply most of the force to your stopping power and if they're failing, then you'll never stop when you want to. As for drum brakes, you MUST have a manual if you've never done it before, and if that IS the case, plan on spending a whole day, or maybe even weekend on it. Your first time with drum brakes will be the hardest, but once you get the hang of it, it won't take nearly as long.

You may ge lucky though since I think you have disc brakes all around.

You can get the manuals at any autoparts store for like $10-15 a pop.How to change brakes on 2001 chevy camero step by step?Ok, here it goes:
